Assassination Nation [Red Band Trailer] - Fierce - In Theaters September 21

Assassination Nation Trailer
"Who knows? Maybe I'll get pissed off and fight back." Neon has debuted another new red band trailer for the film Assassination Nation, one of the big breakouts from the Midnight category at Sundance earlier this year. From writer/director Sam Levinson, the film is about the town of Salem, Massachusetts and how everyone loses their minds when a hacker releases the entire internet history of everyone in the town. It's much smarter than you think and features some incredible filmmaking and gnarly performances. The cast of rowdy youngsters includes Odessa YoungSuki WaterhouseHari NefAbraAnika Noni RoseColman DomingoMaude ApatowKelvin Harrison Jr., with Bill SkarsgardJoel McHale, and Bella Thorne. The film is also playing at TIFF this week, which is why they're releasing another new trailer to give it a final push. Hopefully this little indie hits it big with audiences when it opens this month.

In my Sundance review: "It's invigorating, impressive filmmaking that can ignite some spark deep down…"
This is a one-thousand-percent true story about how the quiet, all-American town of Salem, absolutely lost its mind. Description from the Sundance guide: "High school senior Lily and her crew of besties live in a haze of texts, posts, selfies, and chats—just like the rest of us. So when a provocateur starts posting details from the private digital lives of everyone in their small town of Salem, the result is a Category 5 shitstorm. We’re talking browser histories, direct messages, illegal downloads, secret text chains, and way, way, way worse. People get angry. Like, “rampaging murder posse” angry. And Lily finds herself right in the middle." Assassination Nation is both written and directed by American filmmaker Sam Levinson, director of the film Another Happy Day previously. This premiered at the Sundance Film Festival this year in the Midnight category. Neon will release Assassination Nation in select theaters starting on September 21st in the fall.

The Boat (2018) Official Festival Trailer HD

The Boat Movie

"I am sick of this game!" The first official trailer has launched for a creepy new sailing survival film titled simply The Boat, the feature directorial debut of producer Winston Azzopardi. Starring his own son Joe Azzopardi as the sailor, the film is about a captain who goes out to see and finds an abandoned vessel, but discovers there's something mysterious going on. He ends up locked inside the head of a sailboat which is heading at full steam on autopilot. Where to? There's only one way to find out. This looks creepy and very clever, a bit more than just another lost at sea sailing movie. This is premiering at Fantastic Fest later in the month, which is why this trailer has been released to build some buzz for its premiere there. Worth a watch.
Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Winston Azzopardi's The Boat, direct from

Described as an insidious tale of man vs sea vessel, Winston Azzopardi directs this thriller that stars Joe Azzopardi as a lone fisherman on his daily run who finds himself lost in a thick fog which proves impossible to navigate. The worst is yet to come when his encounter with a seemingly abandoned sailboat becomes a fight for survival against an enemy unknown. The Boat is directed by filmmaker Winston Azzopardi, making his feature directorial debut after making a short film and working as a producer + line producer for years. The screenplay is written by Joe Azzopardi & Winston Azzopardi. This will premiere at Fantastic Fest coming up this month, as well as a few other festivals. No release has been set yet. Thoughts?

Kursk International Trailer #1 (2018) - Movieclips Trailers

Kursk International Trailer #1 (2018) - Movieclips Trailers

Kursk Trailer

"Captain! We heard something happen to the Kursk?" An international trailer has debuted for a submarine thriller titled Kursk, telling the tragic true story of a Russian submarine stuck at the bottom of the ocean. The ship is deemed unsinkable but explosions on a test run leave it rendered useless, and instead of rescuing the remaining crew, the Russians left it there and wouldn't do anything. Supposedly for political reasons, which is hopefully what this film gets into along with everything else. This harrowing English-language take on the Kursk story features Matthias Schoenaerts, with Léa SeydouxColin FirthMax von SydowAugust DiehlSteven Waddington, and Matthias Schweighöfer. The film is going to have its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival this weekend, hence the new trailer out now, even though there's no US release yet. This looks damn good, and unfortunately very sad, but I'm still looking forward to seeing it.
Here's the first international trailer (+ poster) for Thomas Vinterberg's Kursk, from

It is the first major Russian Navy exercise since the end of the Soviet Union, but the K-141 Kursk is deemed unsinkable and its crew recognized as the best in the Northern Fleet. Among that crew is Captain-Lieutenant Mikhail Kalekov (Schoenaerts), a devoted naval officer with a loving wife (Seydoux), a child, and another on the way. He and his crew board the Kursk and descend into the Barents Sea with a sense of optimism and fraternity. Then come the explosions. Many lives are lost instantly, but Mikhail and others are safe in one of the sealed rear compartments. They have air and food to last until they are rescued, but when will help arrive? Once the sub's seismic activity is detected, Britain, France, and Norway offer their assistance, but Russia insists it has the situation under control. Time is of the essence, but time keeps passing. Kursk is directed by acclaimed Danish filmmaker Thomas Vinterberg, of the films The Third LieIt's All About LoveDear WendyWhen a Man Comes HomeSubmarinoThe HuntFar from the Madding Crowd, and The Commune previously. The screenplay is written by Robert Rodat. This is premiering at the Toronto Film Festival this month. The film will open in a few European countries in November, but still has no US release date set. Stay tuned for updates. First impression? Looking good?

How Mobile Transforms Your Hotel Lobby

Many upscale hotels are offering innovative services to its guest by matching the track of hospitality development while other small hotels and spas are trying to level their services by offering low prices to attract people. This whole step of evolution in the hotel industry will keep moving in time. But, one technology that has been adopted by every small and big hotel is the mobile phone tech. The interaction between the guest and the hotel has completely evolved after the mobile phone technology in the hospitality sector. While the mobile is reshaping many areas of the hotel, the one side which has highly benefited from this is the hotel lobby or front desk. For any guest who has traveled miles to reach their destination would never like to stand in a long queue for checking in. For all the hotels, the check-in and out process should be as fast as possible to avoid the frustration of the guest. Having streamlined services for the guest, just at the beginning of the journey can enhance their overall experience positively. Hotel guests have no affection for the front desk, and it usually proves to be an aggravation more than anything else. With mobile usage becoming universal in our everyday life, the whole process which a guest has to perform on the front desk has reduced with this small yet powerful technology. Here are some examples of how mobile is transforming the hotel lobby.

Self-Check-In Through Automated Apps

Self Check In

The adoption of automated apps is not new for the hospitality industry as many hotels are already using this technology for the enhancement of their customer services. Applications for bookings, check-in, and check-out, ordering food or asking for any other services have been implemented in the hospitality sector to provide the ease of access to the guests.

Guest Engagement

Guest Engagement.jpg

Guest Engagement is one of those words which you keep listening in the hospitality industry. It is not a new concept in this circle as most of the hoteliers, right from the beginning, are dealing with people to make them their customers. Nowadays, the time has all changed. New technology has emerged throughout the market, including hospitality. New ways of guest engagement have already developed by business experts to generate more revenue. The power of smartphone, laptops, and tablets means that we are all used to managing our world through an interactive screen. It allows hoteliers to provide a highly personalized service.

More Revenue through Online Bookings

Online Booking.jpg

Booking hotel rooms through online travel agents and booking sites are important, but direct bookings are the most desirable method of guest reservations. As a hotel revenue manager, you can implement measures to increase them in number. Make sure your website is registered to all the famous booking sites such as www.booking.com and www.trivago.com so that it can be easy for the people to search your hotels. There must be a booking option on your own website as well with easy payment options. Direct booking not only helps the hoteliers to get an estimate of the guest who will be arriving on a particular day, but it also helps in generating revenue, as many people search for online bookings and if your hotel gets popped on their screen, there is a chance of booking. Conclusion By looking at the advantages of mobile technology in the hospitality, all the hoteliers must keep this at their priority for future success. That time is not too far, when all the manual functions in the hotels will be done through mobile phones and tablets.
