At about 9:30 p.m., several attackers brandishing AK-47 assault rifles entered the Bataclan theater. There were shouts of “Allahu akbar” just before the gunmen opened fire on concert-goers. At around 10 p.m., the gunmen began rounding up survivors, holding them hostage. After a raid by security forces, French news media quoted officials as saying that at least 80 people had been killed here.
